Local Philanthropy & Service

In addition to raising money and awareness for arthritis and related diseases, our sisters recognize the importance of giving back in many other ways.

Pi Alpha chapter is so proud to support the Cystic Fibrosis foundation in honor of our sister, Taylor. She was a very strong and passionate person, who loved AOII with her whole heart. Taylor lost her battle with Cystic Fibrosis in 2015, but we continue to fight for a cure for this debilitating disease. Through spreading awareness, we have become more conscious of the prevalence of this condition. As a chapter we are able to participate in events such as the Cystic Fibrosis climb at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium and the Cystic Fibrosis walk. We are proud to be doing everything we can to fund research and spread awareness about this disease in hopes that someday, there will be a cure.
